A holiday in Terlano, the South Tyrolean town for wine and asparagus.

Because of its central location in the heart of South Tyrol, Terlano offers a varied programme at any time of the year for sports enthusiasts, as well as for those interested in culture and gastronomy, for example, during the season already well-known for its asparagus.

In the springtime when cycling you can admire the entire valley along the Wine Route of Terlano with its marvellous and fascinating display of flowers. Furthermore extensive cycle paths can lead you to the enchanting orchards and vineyards of the valley of the river Adige.

Because of the Mediterranean climate here summer peeps out prematurely allowing guests to go on numerous mountain tours and excursions, such as for example on the nearby Monzoccolo or in the legendary Dolomite Mountains. It only remains for you to discover our marvellous hiking trails, take a break in a typical wine tavern and sample a glass of wine along with some of our local specialities.

For sports enthusiasts Terlano offers four tennis courts and a spacious open air swimming pool.

Apples are harvested in autumn with special care and after the grape harvest the grapes are taken to the Cantina Terlano to make wine.

You will find that winter too has its fascination because of the Christmas Fairs at Bolzano (10km) and Merano (20km) that announce the arrival of Advent. On the other hand winter sports enthusiasts can amuse themselves on the slopes of the ski areas within easy reach by car (Merano 2000 in 25 minutes, Obereggen and San Martino in 35 minutes).

Terlano and its surroundings offer you numerous free time facilities, such as bicycle tours, excursions, swimming and much more besides.
